When a themed mini session isn't being held at my home studio in Troy, Missouri, you may see me taking photos in nearby parks such as Indian Camp Creek Park.

Each session includes an estimated number of hand-edited, high-resolution images but there’s no strict limit! I deliver all the best images from your session, so there are no extra fees or “upgrade” costs to get your full gallery.

The final image count can vary depending on how the session goes (sudden downpour, snack breaks, or uncooperative husbands), but rest assured, I include every image that tells your story, even those slightly imperfect shots that capture a genuine laugh, cry or funny moment.

Absolutely! I’ll guide you through natural prompts and movements to help everyone look and feel relaxed.

I also ask at the start of each session if you have any pose requests and absolutely feel free to share your Pinterest boards or ideas prior to your session as well.

Yes! I’m based in Troy, Missouri and have a few go to locations for a majority of my sessions but I will occasionally travel for sessions within the surrounding area. Travel fees would apply for locations outside my usual spots so just ask for a quote when booking.

Yes! With every session, you'll automatically have the right to print and display the images for personal use and small business use.

You’re welcome to share your images on social media or print them with any lab of your choice.

For beautiful prints, I recommend Mpix, Nations Photo Lab, or Smallwoods (great for canvases). For bold, vivid colors on prints, choose a glossy finish. For a softer, more sophisticated look with no glare, opt for matte, lustre, or semi-matte finishes.

For best results, always download from the provided link and avoid using screenshots or images saved from social media.

Don’t worry, I always keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your session. If it looks like we’ll have rain, high winds, or other less-than-ideal conditions, we’ll reschedule to the soonest available date that works for both of us.

For mini sessions, I always include a "rain check" fallback date in case weather is less than ideal.

Health and safety come first, for your family and mine. I follow the same general rule as local schools: please wait until your child (or anyone attending the session) has been fever- and symptom-free for at least 24 hours before your session.

As a mom of three, I completely understand that sniffles and surprises happen! If anyone starts feeling under the weather, just reach out as soon as possible and ideally at least three days in advance if you notice symptoms early.

We’ll easily find a new date that works for everyone.

I keep things simple and do not require signed contracts or retainers. The highlights of my terms and conditions when booking a session include:

• Print Release: Print images for personal or small business use; pro or home printing allowed. Not for resale or print-on-demand sites.
• Usage Rights: You may share images online for personal/small business (<20 employees) use; no resale or large-scale use.
• All Edited Photos: You’ll receive all high-resolution, professionally edited color images from your session, delivered via a private download link. Advertised gallery size will vary on the session type and outcome.
• Edits & Requests: Includes standard edits in my style; no RAW/unedited images provided; additional retouching extra and custom/rush edits cost extra and need prior approval. Black & white edits available as an add-on.
• Late Arrivals: Sessions begin at the scheduled time; late arrivals reduce your session time and cannot be extended.
• Client Conduct: Respectful behavior required; disruptive conduct may end session without refund.
• No Refunds: All payments are final; no refunds for cancellations, no-shows, or dissatisfaction.
• Agreement: By scheduling a session, you agree to these terms.
